About CryptoFeeWatch
Real-time blockchain transaction fee tracking so you always know the cheapest moment to send crypto — across Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and beyond.
Why Transaction Fees Matter
Blockchain networks charge fees to compensate validators and miners for processing transactions. During peak demand — market volatility, NFT mints, token launches — fees can spike dramatically. An Ethereum transaction that costs $0.50 at 2 AM UTC might cost $80 during a busy afternoon. Bitcoin fees can jump 10x overnight during congestion events.
Choosing the right time and speed tier (slow, standard, fast) can save real money. CryptoFeeWatch gives you the live data to make that decision without hunting across block explorers, Discord servers, or Twitter.
We also track exchange trading fees and funding rates — because every basis point counts when compounding returns over time.
Blockchains We Track
Bitcoin (BTC)
sat/vB mempool-based fee estimation with slow/standard/fast tiers.
Ethereum (ETH)
EIP-1559 base fee + priority fee (tip) in Gwei, updated each block.
Solana (SOL)
Per-signature lamport fees — among the lowest in crypto.
Polygon (MATIC)
EVM-compatible gas fees, often fractions of a US cent.
BNB Smart Chain
Low-cost EVM chain with predictable gas pricing.
Arbitrum & Optimism
Layer-2 rollup fees, substantially cheaper than Ethereum L1.
How We Source Data
Live Blockchain Nodes
We query full nodes and archival RPC endpoints for real-time block data, ensuring fee estimates reflect the current network state.
Mempool Analysis
For Bitcoin and Ethereum, we analyse unconfirmed transaction queues (mempools) to provide slow/standard/fast fee tiers based on actual pending demand.
Block-Level Refresh
Ethereum fees update on every new block (~12 s). Bitcoin fees update every few minutes as the mempool changes. Solana fees update every epoch.
No Wallet Data Collected
We never ask for or store wallet addresses, private keys, or any personal information. Fee data is purely informational.
Our Mission
CryptoFeeWatch was built by crypto users tired of overpaying fees. Our goal is simple: give anyone — from first-time users to professional traders — a single, accurate dashboard to make smarter decisions about when and where to transact on-chain. No sign-up. No paywalls. Just data.
